Your Fairview Range team is doing everything we can to combat COVID-19. While it’s a priority, that doesn’t mean your other health concerns should suffer. We’re still here to keep you well. That’s why we’ve recently changed our care setup. To reduce traffic through our facilities and reduce the potential transmission of COVID-19, we now offer four ways you can connect with us without leaving home.
Virtual Options
All of our providers are seeing patients through virtual visits. For most visits, a video-based visit is optimal. However, if this is not an option, you’ll find a phone-based visit can accomplish your needs. We encourage E-visits through MyChart for minor concerns.
Video Visits
A two-way, real-time, interactive video and audio appointment with your provider.
Call 218-362-6937 to make an appointment.
Telephone Visits
A telephone visit is just that – a phone call with your provider.
Call 218-362-6937 to make an appointment.
Most phone visits are 10 minutes or less. Cost varies by length of visit and is typically covered by insurance.

You can reach your provider online, using Fairview MyChart. Log in anytime.
To complete an E-visit:

Urgent Needs
If what needs to be done is urgent and cannot be accomplished virtually, options exist for in-person visits. This is on a case-by-case basis. To figure out if you need to be seen in person, call our triage line at 218-362-6682. If it is an emergency, please call 911.
Virtual FAQ
Which departments are still open for visitation?
We do have in-person options, including lab visits. Your provider will let you know if there is a need to be seen in person and what care options are available during a virtual visit.
Our Emergency Department is available 24/7 and Urgent Care remains open 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day.
Why is it important to keep in touch with my provider right now?
Your healthcare provider already knows you and, as is always true, optimal health takes maintenance. Many conditions can be better managed with routine monitoring, reducing risk problems down the road.
Can I do a virtual visit even if I don’t have a Fairview Range provider?
Yes, you may be seen for a non-urgent appointment for a virtual visit.
How long is a video visit usually?
Typical visits range from eight to 25 minutes, depending on the condition and concerns.
Is a virtual visit covered by insurance?
This varies by health insurance. We have seen a dramatic increase in coverage right now due to COVID-19. However, if you are concerned, please contact your insurer.
