Preparing Kids for Cold Weather

As the temperature begins to drop and the days get shorter, it’s important to make sure children are well-prepared for the colder months ahead. From bundling them up in warm clothes to ensuring their immune systems are in top shape, here’s how you can keep your kids healthy during the chilly fall and winter seasons. 

Dress in Layers

  • Probiotics: Yogurt, kefir, and other fermented foods contain probiotics, which help maintain a healthy balance of gut bacteria. 
  • Hydration: Even though it’s colder outside, it’s still important for children to stay hydrated. Try herbal teas and warm soups for additional hydration options.
